Much of my most recent work is client facing, but below you will find some of my web-based digital assets created with both Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects, and the role I played in authoring, creating, capturing, developing, and designing each asset.
Studio E Promotional Video
Purpose:
Sharma Ferrugia wanted me to capture the essence of a Senior Experience Photo Shoot – fun, energetic, hectic, fun, totally focused on the senior, and fun. She is very passionate about capturing her seniors, loves to have fun with them, and she is an award winning photographer. The shoot lasted for around 5 hours over two days. I delivered Sharma two videos. One for her client of the experience and the other as an illustration for Sharma’s website. This video is the website version and as you can probably guess – it was a pretty fun experience.
My Role in the Project:
- Video and audio capture with the Nikon D800 and D7000 cameras
- Video and audio editing in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Provided a longer version for the client photographed during this Senior Experience shoot
- Worked with Sharma Ferrugia (photographer) throughout the project
Irons in the Fire Video
Purpose:
Mari Fridenmaker wanted a video that would attract new athletes to the sport of triathlon. I developed the idea and Mari ran away with it – inviting her athletes to provide the voices behind the video – many of which were training for their first events. After the audio was captured and edited, the video edited itself. This video was truly a collaboration.
My Role in the Project:
- Developed the concept, script, and storyboard
- Shot and edited all video clips
- Edited audio tracks
- Added music form Purple-Planet.com and secured rights agreement
- Edited the video around the audio
Run Warm Up Drills Video
Purpose:
Mari Fridenmaker wanted to underscore that warming up for performance is very important. The video had to be clear, illustrative, cross platform for access in the field, quick, and easy to access. I also wanted to capture Mari’s excellent personality, passion for the sport, and great coaching ability. I also wanted to develop an template for other illustrative videos to be developed quickly and simply at a later date.
My Role in the Project:
- Video and audio capture with the Nikon D800 and D7000 cameras
- Video and audio editing in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Created upper and lower third graphics
- Worked with Mari Fridenmaker throughout the project
Bio Video Re-edit
Purpose:
My task on this project was to make it better. I was to take the existing video, add additional footage and photographs, clean up the audio, perform some color correction, and do some general tightening up. The changes were all subtle, but we were proud of the final product.
My Role in the Project:
- Created and added title logo animation
- Added upper third logo animation and placement with Premiere Pro
- General Editing and color correction of existing footage with Premiere Pro
- Audio editing of existing footage to remove any distractions in Adobe Audition
- Added additional video footage and music from Purple-Planet.com
- Worked closely with Mari to exceed her expectations
- Used After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop and Illustrator for this project
Video Project
This video short was developed from my passion for cycling.
Purpose:
I developed this video from the inspiration of Emily Wray (and el Wray Design) as part of my Full Sail coursework. I wanted to capture the feeling of a farm, the frustration of learning to ride a bicycle, and the joy of finally riding.
My Role in this Video:
- Developed the concept, script, and storyboard
- Shot and edited all video
- Recorded and edited audio tracks
- Added music form Purple-Planet.com and secured rights agreement
- Performed and secured cast of actors and props
Video Trailer
Nothing inspires creativity like a deadline! This video was required to capture my Action Research Project without audio comment. My time limit was three minutes – I wish it had been one.
